Timetabel of Croatia meeting

3.-9.12.2017 toimus projekti “Quality – 3C Child (Cheerful, Courageous, Creative Child) kohtumine Zagrebis, Jaruni erinevates lasteaedades.

  • Uurimuse 2.osa viiakse läbi 2018 a. jaanuari keskel
  • mudeli esitlemiseks valmib laste joonistustega tehtud animatsioon.

From December 3 to 9, 2017, the Quality – 3C Child (Cheerful, Courageous, Creative Child) meeting took place in various kindergartens in Jarun, Zagreb.

At this meeting, Maria Jürimäe and Birgit gave an overview of the concept of the quality of the learning process and the related studies in general, as well as the results of the first part of the study carried out within the framework of the project.

The first part of the Tuulteroos (Compass Rose) study included 120 parents and nursery teachers in Greece, 156 in Croatia, 91 in Estonia, 91 in Latvia, and 117 in Portugal. The results of the countries were compared with each other and the answers of parents and nursery teachers were compared within the country.

A discussion took place on the 2nd study procedure and it was decided that:

  • The number of respondents in Part 1 and Part 2 need not be the same because the sample is large enough;
  • Croatia participates in the Part 2 of the study with 6 groups
  • Latvia has already completed Part 2 of the study, it will not be changed
  • Estonia will make Part 2 again with unchanged questions in 1 kindergarten (6 groups)
  • Part 2 of the study will be conducted in mid-January 2018
  • Greece and Portugal do not carry out a study on Part 2 (evaluation of a specific group).
  • An animation of children’s drawings will be prepared to present the model.

In addition to the study, a group work was carried out, which collected various methods for analyzing the child’s development and for collecting the feedback, Professor Branka Starc introduced the Grow Together program for parenting in Croatia, and Neda Vac Buric and Tomislav Miljak conducted a practical exercise on the Grow Together program. At the meeting, Anneli Mõtsmees presented the website of the project and agreed on the website to be posted.
